Who Sapient Sabre
Why Sapient Sabre

It's pen,
"The Sapient Sabre" means pen!
Well, also my pen name.
When Vikings ventured across the world, it is rumored that they had no time for creative works. So they just rename things with two or three words.
This skill is called KENNINGS, by replacing names of ordinary everyday objects with two words, we demonstrate creativity. Door can be named as "Dong-dong Wood". Rain can be "cloud juice".
Pens are used to write things, to express ideas. I call it, "Sapient Sabre". We humans have language, we are sentient, that makes us Homo Sapiens.
Naming a pen as Sapient Sabre is metaphorically saying:
it is a human's best tool to express intellect.

Quotes that I like
About Humans/Humanity:
"Life, is an overrated phenomenon. It’s just the humans and the social system we built that exaggerated life. You will never bear to eat a human because they have socially-constructed value. We need to be born in a hospital, that is expensive. We go to school or work, that is our value."
-Judson Cotter, I Had a Farm
"We have humanity to define what is human, to convince ourselves that we humans are unique, we are superior. I say, what superiority complex, it is our inferiority complex that urges us to define ourselves."
-Alex McSheen, The Windownesian CH 11
"What makes you you? Is it your eyes and ears you see when you look at a mirror, or is it the things you love to lay sight on? Is it the arm and legs you use to contact the world, or the people and objects you enjoy touching? Is it your heart and stomach, or things that make you feel different? Boi, humans are much more complex than that, everything is right! We are not just certain organs, but a network of them, plus a collection of personal experiences."
-Uncle Mark, The Windownesian CH11
About Technology:
"Aren't humans always afraid of new things? In 1960 people were afraid of the computer, in 1990 people were afraid of the Internet, in the 2000s humans were concerned about AI. The world has never been kind to new things. But look at how common is holophone these days!"
-Dr Lamar Zu, The Windownesian CH 7
“Can you joke, cry, love, hate? Do you...have a soul?”
-Luddy Yhtomit to Bobby (an advanced robot), The Search for The Sapient Sabre
"So what? You have the Internal Eye in your eyeballs. I have a prosthetic that can talk. Are we less of a human because we use gadgets to interface with the world?...We humans have always been bounded with technology since our ancestors covered some leaves as clothes or picked up some sticks to hunt. Cars are extensions of our feet. Holophone is the extension of our vision, memory and hearing. We humans have been imbued with the tools we use from day one.”
Jonathan Wills, The Windownesian CH 11
About God/Christianity:
"Only our God is willing to descend as a human, live with us, and learn our earthly struggles. And in the end die for us. If that is not the God who deserves our faith, I don't know who is."
"What if God already has everything arranged, just that only we Christians recognize it, appreciate it and know to seek guidance from him."
-Jonathan Wills. The Windownesian CH 9
"The Bible is God’s words, but it is written in human language. In specific cases like this, it has human flaws."
-Tim, The Windownesian CH 12
"The Bible is not just for the believers to read. What matters more is that it demonstrates the relationship between God and humans through various stories, poems, teachings and revelations."
-Jonathan Wills, The Windownesian CH 9
"Above all rules, Jesus commanded us to love, we need to be caring about our world and what’s happening in it."
-Athena Leung, The Windownesian CH 7
"Yes, eventually we Christians belong to God’s world. But we belong to our world too, and it is our responsibility to take good care of this world."
-Athena Leung, The Windownesian CH 12
Others:
"We think difference, differently!"
-Professor Dawn Wong, various
"Ethics is good. But that is after humans sustain basic life requirements."
-Cotter Judson, I Had a Farm
“A responsible government shall also ensure that we have reasonable freedom for a well-developed mental life, so that a city is its people, not a mere collection of buildings.”
-Apollo Leung, The Windownesian CH 5
"For that my future is here [in Hong Kong], and I shall be active to improve it rather than searching from place to place."
-Rona Chan, The Windownesian CH4
"I am so eager to voice out, because I do believe someone is listening. I always act impulsive, because I want someone to care, I wish that I can bring some constructive changes."
-Zedekiah Chan, The Windownesian CH 12
“Ironic, humans throw trash to the sea, and we eat the trash back.”
-Amy, The Windownesian CH 3
"Knowledge doesn't directly improve the world, they inspire people. And those people improve the world."
-Tim, The Windownesian CH 13
If we suffer from brain damage, what will we forget first? What will we forget last?

What monster have we become. Human individuals, grew and lived, all doesn't matter anymore when they are mere meat.
-Lilith Hunter, Lilith
"Listen, Hugo, we seagulls art madeth violent and almighty. Why give them peace and justice when thou can be a predator?"
-Hugo's brother, The Holy Raven

-Bobby, The Search for the Sapient Sabre
"The pandemic is a natural disaster. Yet making wrong decisions during the pandemic, that's man-made disaster, and the latter kills more people."
